Harley Davidson Road King Engine
Most
V-twin engines have a single crank pin, which is shared by both
connecting rods. The connecting rods may sit side-by-side with offset
cylinders, or they may be "fork & blade" items with cylinders in the
same plane without an offset.
Generally, any two-cylinder engine with its two cylinders arranged more than 0° and less than 180° apart is referred to as a V-twin. Although Ducati use the name "L-twin" for their 90° twin engine (with its front cylinder nearly horizontal and the rear cylinder almost vertical), there is no technical distinction between V-twin and L-twin engines; and these are merely names used by convention.
A 90° V-twin will, with a correct counterweight, yield perfect primary balance, although its firing intervals are uneven. A V-twin with an angle of less than 90° is more compact and has more even firing intervals, but has significantly poorer mechanical balance. Offset crankpins are sometimes used to reduce the resulting vibration.
Naza Blade 650R GTI
As for the more powerful 200kg Naza Blade TBR 650R with a 650cc motor
providing significantly more power, it gets an additional 3.6bhp for
its standard 79bhp, for a total of 82.6bhp, still torque is unchanged at
67Nm at 7,250rpm, while an additional gear gets thrown into the mix
allowing you to shift up to 6th.
The TBR 650R also uses the same set of 17″ rims and disc brake setup
as the TBR 250R , except the tyres get swapped out for a larger set at
120/60 up front while a 160/90 tyre gets used for the rear and high
performance steel braided line with red protective sleeve gets added
into the mix.

Ducati 848 Evo
The Ducati Superbike 848 EVO is the lightest superbike ever built by
Ducati. The EVO model is 6 hp stronger than the standard model, boosting
the power up to 140 hp. The torque was also increased to 10 kgm
resulting in a sharper acceleration and a flowing power delivery. The
engine is combined with a lightweight 2-1-2 exhaust system equipped with
a catalytic converter and 2 lambda probes to conform to Euro3
regulations.
The bike features a magnesium front subframe which
helps to geep the overall weight to as low as possible. Moreover its
construction provides secure support for the headlamp, instruments and
fairing. The stopping power is assured by radially mounted Brembo
Monobloc callipers. The twin Monobloc callipers each have four 34 mm
pistons that grip 320 mm discs to help generate a strong braking. The
rear wheel is stopped by a Brembo two-piston calliper which bites a 245
mm disc.
Specification :
Suzuki Gladius 650 V.
The motor for instance doesn’t follow class wisdom because while Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha have opted for parallel-twins and an in-line four, the Hamamatsu concern chose a small V-Twin. Displacing 645cc it produces a healthy 71hp at 8400rpm and 64Nm at 6400rpm, which isn’t too far away from the bike of the moment, the Yamaha MT-07.
The chassis hardware bits are more conventional. The frame
is a steel-tube trellis while suspension consist of 41mm forks at the front and
a single rear shock at the back, both adjustable for preload. Unlike its
Japanese rivals, the Gladius comes with ABS as standard (as opposed to being
optional or not offered at all), which is a bit of a coup for a CBU bike with a
retail price of RM39,750 including the dreaded 6 per cent GST.
