2016 Kawasaki ZX-10R

ZX-10R
by Kawasaki

Currently, which sends a latest generation super-bike enroll able is electronics. The ZX-10R we knew so far had 5 years between us and, despite being the most successful Ninja racing history (twice champion of the world SBK, several national titles and victories in Resistance), needed a good look under the arm of super-R that were shown in Milan in 2014. We know what will be the fourth generation of aggressive Super-bike signing Akashi, a bike that responds to the last attack of many of its rivals this year, entering the "electronic club of the century" and drawing on the experience of Jonathan Rea, Super-bike world champion 2015.

In this sense, the ZX-10R 2016 inherits a lot of technology already seen in its unique sister H2: electronic throttle RBW, traction control S-KTRC (5 levels of intervention), launch control KLCM (3 levels), motor control brake KEBC, semiautomatic change KQS, ABS-braking KIBS with triple angle and optimized driving mode. The IMU, as mentioned in competitors like the Yamaha YZF-R1, is also present in this Kawasaki, signed by Bosch to control all movements of the bike in 6 axes.

Respect to the chassis, the chassis varies its dimensions, with the toggle more strengthened and elongated (15.8 mm) as before. The new pressurized inverted fork is signed by 'Showa' and is an evolution of the BPF, now BFFF (Free Balance Front Fork) double piston. The 'Showa' rear shock is a BFRC multi irregularly. The brake discs are no longer lobed and as much of its competition, the front looks excellent 'Brembo' mono-block radial calipers M50.

The propeller keeps the 200 hp, but is completely new, exceeds the Euro4 and gains in lower-middle: cylinder heads, intake, camshaft, valves titanium exhaust, combustion chamber, titanium exhaust, cylinders Offset displaced 2 mm, lightweight pistons, larger-capacity air box (10 l.), gearbox, crankshaft with less inertia, chain tension distribution, etc.

2016 Product : Call for Inspection at Service Center

Kawasaki has proceeded to inform the owners of the ZX-10R, initiating a free campaign “Review and Replacing” of said screws. It is performed in about fifteen minutes or so, as has been reported by the manufacturer. A failure in the steering damper screws Kawasaki ZX-10R 2016 has forced the Japanese call to review a number of models for replacement.

Check if affected. It is less damage caused by incorrect installation on the production line. Excessive torque on the bolts holding the steering damper of the Kawasaki ZX-10R caused a small stretch of the screws and the possibility, very remote, they tell us from Kawasaki, but possible that any of them could split, with the risk.

The units whose frame is within the following range are those that are affected: JKAZXT00SSA000251 - JKAZXT00SSA002320. If the frame number of your bike is between the potentially affected units, please contact your dealer or the nearest official service.

Sport Turing

In this session, I like to write about Sport Turing Bike. This bike is the best ride for beginner that like to go for Super Sport. For your information, I ride one of those for 2 years already. But mine is only 650cc and  I can bet that is enough for the beginner because event it is only 650cc, the bike have quit big torque to make your heard jumping when you pull the throttle. The picture below is me with my lovely Kawasaki ER-6F. I call it 'The Green Beast'.

For those who want to take a first step in this big bike experience, I strongly recommend this type of bike for you to try first and for the good reason is for your safety. I am quite sure that you will not regrade it. Be familiar with the operation of the bike system and the main think is to get the skill how to handle the big torque and awesome acceleration.

Motorcycles guides discussing Sport Touring Motorcycles include discussion of Sport-Bikes that resemble road race bikes specification with turn signals and license plates, and motorcycles that blend the performance of sport-bikes with the wind protection and comfort and luggage capacity of touring bikes.  Because of  sport–touring motorbikes are a hybrid category, guides also cover a broad range of engine sizes and types, but reviews state that they tend to have comfortable riding positions, good wind protection thanks to a windshield and fairing, standard luggage (saddlebags, perhaps a trunk) and touring amenities such as cruise control, ABS, audio systems and more.

Got a lot of middleweight sport touring bike in the market nowadays. Honda with their CB400 (Naked Bike) and CB500F, Suzuki with GSX 650F, Yamaha with their XJ6 and T-07 (Naked Bike), Benelli with their TNT600 (Naked Bike), Naza with their Blade 650, Aprilia with their Shiver 750 (Naked Bike) and many more. Naked bike and Sport Touring bike is not much different in term of the engine performance. The Sport Touring is just the naked and with the fairing. It mean when we install fairing to the Naked Bike, it will become Sport Touring Bike.

Good passenger confidence makes it easier for riders when carrying a pillion. Seat bracket is rubber-mounted at the front to reduced vibration transferred through the seat.

New Bodywork

Deep grooves at the top of the side fairings are evocative of Kawasaki's new flagship, the ZZR1400. Large openings in the side fairings help with heat dissipation and contribute to the ER-6f's sporty looks. Built-in turn signals are more compact, contributing to the sporty image. Slimmer lower cowl contributes to the sharp styling.

New Swing Arm

Following the lines of the frame and rear shock, the swing arm also features the new double-pipe design to hold 160/60ZR17 rear tyre, complementing the design of the frame and contributing to the ER-6f's high-quality appearance. The swing arm’s gull-arm style design on the right side enables the more aggressive angle of the muffler.

The sculpted shape of the multi-reflector headlamp’s bulb hoods is an example of the attention given to detail on this model. Sharp dual headlamp design contributes to the more aggressive face of the new ER-6f. The dual headlamp design features twin position lamps just like on our Ninja super sport models (ZZR1400).

Euro-3 Compliant

The combination of efficient electronic fuel injection Keihin and a 3-way catalyser inside the muffler result in low emissions make the average of consumption about 23.4km/L. Revised muffler internal construction and catalyser layout ensure clean emissions that will pass stringent Euro-3 regulations.

Compact and Quick-Revving Engine With Stronger Low-Mid Range

The liquid cooled 4 stroke parallel twin cylinder with DOCH 4 valve per cylinder engine configuration was chosen as the best balance of good power and compact size engine (11.3:1 compression) drive the bike 12.7s for quarter mile and 210km/h top. Tuning delivered more low-mid range torque for more fun and greater usability in daily riding, while maintaining the high-revving character.

More Torque in Everyday Range

Under-engine muffler with larger volume and revised internal construction delivers increased 66Nm torque in the everyday range below 7,000 rpm. The increased performance 72.1 PSI at 8,500 rpm facilitates control at lower rpm and contributes to the enhanced enjoyment of the new ER-6f.

Optional ABS

Front brake 2 x 300mm disc 2 piston callipers and rear break single 220mm 1 piston calliper. Compact new ABS unit has a more advanced processor that enables more precise ABS control.

Lighter Handling

This 210kg of overall weight have rigidity balance of the double-pipe frame and swing arm contributes to a lighter, easier handling package. The swing arm’s new double-pipe design optimizes rigidity. Revised suspension has longer stroke front and rear, offering both sporty handling and enhanced comfort. The longer strokes enable lower spring rates. Damping was revised accordingly.
